Gölhisar Vocational School
Department of Architecture and Urban Planning Mapping and Cadastre Program students,
conducted an important practical training with the field study event organized at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School. The event was organized by the Mapping and Cadastre Program of Gölhisar Vocational School and was held in the high school garden.
The event was attended by Gölhisar Vocational
School Director Murat Ertilav, Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School Director Fatih
Keçe, Lecturer Dr. Hasan Çevik, teachers of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School,
2nd-year students of the Mapping and Cadastre Program, and students of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School.
To the students of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School,
measurement tools used in land surveying such as level, staff, total station,
pole, prism, steel tape measure, and cors were introduced. Mapping
and Cadastre Program students demonstrated the purposes of using these tools practically.
Thus, high school students had the opportunity to turn their theoretical knowledge into practice.
Gölhisar Vocational School
Mapping and Cadastre Program 2nd-year students conducted acquisition, application, and survey studies within the high school boundaries. The 3D elevation and coordinate data obtained as a result of the measurements made in the field were transferred to the computer environment and the current map of the high school area was created using the NETCAD software program along with the triangular model and contour lines.
Within the scope of the event, Lecturer Dr. Hasan Çevik provided information to high school students in the conference hall of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School about the job opportunities for graduates of the Mapping and Cadastre Program, undergraduate programs that can be transitioned to with DGS, and the Double Major Program.

Director Fatih Keçe expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating that such
events increase students' motivation. High school students, who showed great
interest in the event, drew attention with their active participation.
Gölhisar Vocational School Director Murat Ertilav stated that such events will continue to increase, expressing that they will continue to contribute to the professional development of students. He stated that such practical training events will help students develop their professional knowledge and skills and provide significant contributions to their future careers.
